What did you do to your GE fit today?
#1601
Saturday I washed the car. Clay barred the entire paint surface with Pinnacle Poly Clay. Then polished it with a jeweling pad (since I have no scratches/swirls) and Optimum Poliseal and my DA polisher. Then sealed the car with Klasse High Gloss Sealant let it sit over night then applied the second coat of sealant Sunday morning. Here is a crappy cell phone pic but you can still tell even with the clouds the thing shines and is butter smooth. I even washed the rims thoroughly and sealed them with Optimum Opti-seal. All ready for winter and the road salt.
Just as a side note...this is the 1600th post to this thread. Congrats. Keep them coming guys/gals!!!

Shiniest silver fit you will ever see.
Paint also repels dirt, dust and rain like no other. Can't get this protection with any waxes.
Check my website if you don't believe the concept.

First just some basic stuff like Weathertec mats. I'll probably do the red badges as well. They just look so good on TW. Not sure after that.

What I did do the Fit today: I worried to it
I'm from the city (LA), but am in the desert (Joshua Tree). I'm driving out to see the sunrise this AM, and I see my Tire Pressure indicator on. Yikes.
Nothing is open and I have no money or cash on me - so I drive back TO WHERE I am staying in the desert. There IS NO Honda dealer in the desert. I drive again to a local desert fix-it shop. One tire is down to 29 and another down to 30. He inflates them to 33.
Light STILL on.
1.) I drove about 7 miles since inflation
2.) It's cold here
3.) I might have driven over a stone on a dirt road
My plan is to let the Fit sit all day, then drive it about 20-25 miles, then take it back to the fix-it man to check the pressure. If it is still 33 all the way around, chalk it up to the light. If it is under 33, he'll fix a slow leak. Obviously I want to be safe driving back on the 10 to LA. I love my Fit - and this makes me nervous.
ANY THOUGHTS? THANKS!!

Ah the joy of not having those sensors here but a tire gauge which I use.

Turned it over 1000 miles on my 10th day of 2010 Fit Base 5mt Blue Sensation ownership...
Tinted the windows, yanked the nasty covers off the base wheels..
Receiver hitch arrived but havent had time to install yet. Ordered the parts for DIY SRI, a keyless entry fob, weathertech mats...
Saving my pocket change for some nice wheels.

As I stated above...Went to get new tires today.
Yokohama Avid Envigor's 205-50-16's. Just for reference I am lowered on Tanabe DF210's lowering springs. No rubbing issues...ride and handling is night and day compared to the stock Dunlops. 100X better.

Dang... did it again today.
If this keeps up again in a few days (after she takes it to a dealer to get checked out), I'm gonna scream bloody murder until she sells that POS (stupid Dodge).

Anyhow, I just bought a new Dodge Minivan this week. I am picking it up either Mon or Tues. Paid less than my Fit.
