Unlock code for GE8 Stock Sport HeadUnit

Unhooked the positive battery terminal to wire some things up this weekend and I get in the car monday morning and my radio doesn't work. It's telling me I need an unlock code. Does anyone know what that is?

Every car will be differet so you will have to all your dealer and they should give it to you at no cost ofcourse.

They should have supplied you with a card that has your unlock code on it, also if you register for https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp

with the credentials you provided the dealer then it should also be listed there once you log in.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'll search the compartment under the back seat (where all my fit documentation is kept) and see if I can't dig up the card, although I don't remember or was never told said card even existed when I purchased the car. Plan B will be to call the dealership and see what they can do for me.

Thanks again.

Look on the glove box when you fold it down... Mine has a sticker right there where you can see it from the drivers seat.

not to be a pain, but i think you're supposed to disconnect the negative terminal if you're gonna work. it just helps to prevent shorts if you have a wrench or something that might ground if you touch the wrong places.
