Best thing to do is take it off and see for yourself. but what I've heard on youtube with the prm and takeda intakes it sounds pretty similiar esp. low end.

Like I said before nothing is going to be as good as a intake but hey this at least sounds almost as good until I decide what intake to get.

 

I am VERY interested to hear the results of this. I am doing the same thing, only I just did the dynamat stuff without the barrier material (big mistake) now I have to rip it all over again. I am going to use foil tape to join instead of what looks like duct tape (gorilla tape?)

Did you have to trim the bottoms of any panels (the extra thickness looks like it would be a problem) Do keep updating, thanks!

 

drop steering column, disconnect wiring, remove side bolts holding dashboard in.. i did an 05 tl one in about 3 hours
