Personally as a short Irish leprechaun (i store my gold under the spare tire) I hate the rear seat headrests and have found many passengers just prefer to remove them entirely instead of having them pulled up. Does anyone else have this problem too?

Will 07/08 front headrests fit 09 fit?

Will 07/08 front headrests fit 09 fit? Does anyone have distance 07/08 posts are apart (outside of post to outside of post)? and how thick the posts are?

Awesome idea guys.

I have the same problem. I like to sit up straight, and the headrest is not comfortable at all to me in the stock condition. I'm going to do this as soon as I buy a vice.

Maybe I'll just bring the headrest into home depot and use their demo vices, lol.

Found a solution, 2007 Honday Accord headrest

I also like to sit upright and have this same issue with my 2010 Fit. See my verified solution here:

I recently met another 09 owner with the same problem who straightened the headrest mounting shafts. I did the same to my mine and noted an immediate improvement.
Ive actually seen a fit over go as far as flipping the headrest around backwards.

Same question. Do older headrests fit?

Hi, I just bought an '09 Fit Sport and am having the same problem. I tried to put one of the headrests from the back seat, did not fit at all. So the Sport must be different? I am short and need to sit upright, reclining further back is just too far, steering wheel doesn't telescope far enough.

Do headrests from the '08 fit? I also read about some people who tried headrests from a 2007 Accord. But there appears to be a few different part numbers, not sure which to order, and dealers have been no help.

I really love the car but the discomfort is making me regret my decision to buy this car. Not just the headrest, whole seat is weird, and no support for right thigh results in leg numbness.
