Anyone know the 09 Fit Sport w/Navi Interior color code for a Milano Red exterior?

Also, anyone with a Navi swap one out yet? What did you do with the Navi voice activation mic?

I was also spoiled with Homelink in my '07 350Z and really missed it in the Fit. I didn't want to replace the map lights since that houses the mic for my navi unit, so I opted for a Gentex rear view mirror with Homelink. It is a fairly simple install. I did a DIY, so if anyone with the Honda navi doesn't want to lose the mic , this is an option:

Depending on which one you can find, they also come with the mic for the Navi.

What I was hoping was that one could just swap out this unit with ours--maybe the guts of it with the plastic bezel? Also, check out all the links in the second post:

7th gen accord overhead console - Drive Accord Honda Forums

The Odyssey doesn't have the off-door-on switch like an accord does; would that be easier?

You have a Navi also, I too need a similar one to this one.

Does the above sunglass holder have enough room for the sunglass case? It looks like it would just be enough for the glasses.

I need a black colored one since I eventually plan on doing the seats in black leather. I still haven't had a chance to see my neighbor's TL unit, or pass by an Acura dealer yet... I'm guessing one of the Acura ones would work, since those have a dark color interior.

Anyone know a home link model w/Navi mic & sunglass holder in black, please post up a pic or part #. thanks

So that picture is from an Odyssey. What looks like the sunglasses slot in the picture is actually a convex mirror for looking at the kids in the backseat. (See the rear mirror in the reflection?) When one pushes up again on the sunglasses flap the whole thing drops down and you have a standard sunglasses holder on the back of the flap. So the picture is at the halfway position. I'm sure the Accord one just pops down without the mirror (the part is probably cheaper too!).

The black dot is the hole through which an amber LED shines down for a little bit of ambient light at night. I personally think it's awesome and would do the swap for the LED, because I think the accessory ambient light kit is impractical and would love a little bit of light down around the shifter.

I have no idea what the mesh is. I guess that's where the navi speaker hides on higher-end models.

But doesn't it look like you could pop out the lights and the homelink unit and put it in the gray bezel we've already got, assuming you pop out our full-width lights? It would probably require some wiring, though...

And this thread from our own FitFreak is a great read:

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...k-install.html

Don't miss post 11 for part diagrams and page 4 for more install pics.

Looks like last-gen TSXes use the same old part:

Looking on ebay, the last-gen TL part is a bit fancier (sorry I don't know how to embed photos, but go to the bottom and scroll up):

Acura : TL:eBay Motors (item 260421346563 end time Jun-08-09 17:53:53 PDT)

The new TL unit is SWEET though:

I should be receiving a mirror from Gentex today that includes the homelink, compass and outside temperature. I plan to install it tonight and tomorrow. I do have a few questions about the power source and running the temp probe to the front bumper. (but I'll start a new thread for that). Will keep you posted.
