GD vs GE

GD vs GE
Hey everyone,
I just signed up to this forum hoping for a bit of insight!
Basicly I have loved the Jazz's since my mum owned a purple 1.3CVT a few years ago, now Im planning to get into one and spend some coin on it.
I tried doing a search but I really couldnt find any info regarding the following.
I was just wondering if there is any reason to go for a GE over a GD apart from the fact that its a bit younger, is the basic geometry etc much better? Obviously I will also be able to get a GD a lot cheaper and have more $ left over for mods.
Im also looking to supercharge the car and Im wondering which model will have more aftermarket support (please also take into consideration I am in Aus, so a lot of the US stuff wont be compatible).
I will be going for the L15A in MT.
