Just wondering if the JDM GE hood will fit the USDM GE?

I'm not 100% sure but I think the JDM GE hood is shorter than the US model.

 

no it will not fit, the JDM entire front end including the hood area is shorter than the uSDM model. THe headlights MAY fit but nobody is brave enough to have tried it.

I was planning to import a cf hood from the Phils, which has the JDM version..
But i guess i have to wait for the USDM version..

 

I you look closely at pictures of USDM and JDM cars, you can easily see that the back of the headlamp cluster is at least a couple of inches closer to the windshield base on the JDM Fit. The entire nose of the car is considerably shorter on the JDM.

 

Very old thread, but can anyone confirm if the JDM GG7,GG8 and GP2 Fit Shuttle parts fit the USDM Fit? The parts in question are the fenders and the hood. If I'm not mistaken the USDM Fit's front end is based off the JDM Fit Shuttle.

 

No they do not interchange.

 

Have you confirmed this yourself, if so how?
