Is there are difference between the USDM and the JDM bonnets in terms of size?

I want to get a Seibon bonnet but scared it won't fit properly as I know the USDM Fit has a longer front end but not sure if that means that the bonnet is longer.

 

Yes, there is a big difference with the bonnets. Different locations.

What do you mean by different locations?

 

The USDM bonnet/hood is about 3-4 inches longer than the JDM hood, thus the location of the hood latch is different. USDM hood latch is mounted outside of the radiator support to compensate for the longer hood.

 

Seibon does make a OEM CF Hood for JDM Fits which I think has the same length as the UK ones...

 

it's no where near. The hood latch is differant, the headlights are more curved to teh hood, it's shorter...
