Installed!! 2nd cigarette plug ***PICS***

I just got it done today, didn't take me long at all. Everything works great & now I can charge 2 things at once and have that OEM look (because it is OEM )

Is the stock fuse gonna be able to handle the draw if you're using both outlets at the same time?

You might have to up the amperage on the fuse a tiny bit.

myke

that's cool. good job. can you just twist it to straighten it out though? as they said above, it does look a little crooked.

Any handy tips for removing the pannel that the outlets are on?

And it is not that crooked, looks good to me!

That's what I thought at first too, then I noticed it was just chromatic aberration around the overexposed letters making it look that way. It would be cool if they did light up though!

pretty easy, you have to remove the upper panel first though.

Nice little mod.

I got this, and bumping up the fuse slightly would be a good idea in this case, also:

Amazon.com: Wagan Twin USB/DC Cup Holder Adapter: Automotive

It drops right into the left side cupholder in the console. Both barrels light up with a bluish tint, giving illumination to that otherwise dark area of the console, and the battery charge indicator does work (one of the reviewers on Amazons incorrectly stated that part of the unit is not real).

I really like however you might be blowing fuses once you use 2 devices. Y instead of linking the two poles together, why not create a second fuse for the second cig lighter?

I'm doing just fine. I've been charging my GPS unit & iPhone simultaneously for a week now.
