Do you like your car DGS? Obviously you do or you wouldn't have purchased it. Do you still like it after several months of ownership? Do you appreciate it? Nothing "creepy" about this thread for those that have had lot's of cars and find the Fit to be something "special". In the end it's just a car...not just any "other" car is the point. It has a certain indefinable quality to it which is what I like most about it...

Hmm what are those punch outs for on the front and rear bumpers?

I too look back. I try to park away from cars, carts, & lamp posts (bird droppings). I usually look at her pic before sleeping, & take a look at her from the window after waking up. I take her out for a spin everyday so far.

I wave and/or do a thumb up to other Fits most of the time but rarely get a response back.

is there somewhere where us fit owners can marry our fits?
When we dream, breathe and bathe our fits we are pretty dedicated!

I've had my car 3 years and today I took it out of the barn and parked it where I could look at it out the window..... I used to do that with some old Triumphs, Harleys, Cadillacs and Austin Healeys, which seems like a perfectly rational thing..... There is something perverse about being infatuated with an Asian built econobox and I have put more money into performance parts for my Fit than I paid for a 4 year old Wide Glide with only 2800 miles on it. I rode the Harley for 5 years and got double what I had in it, and will never be able to do that with my Fit ..... I look at what some people have spent on after market cosmetics and realize that I am at least somewhat sane.

Used to drive an 07 yaris hatch. There was always a little voice in the back of my head that said, why didn't you go with the fit. My wife and I had a baby about 8 months ago and when she was born I said bye bye to the yaris and never looked back.

5 days ago I got slammed into by some lady in an 04 Explorer on my lunch break. $2000 worth of body work. They gave me a rental car. What kind of car do you think it was, yes...an 08 yaris hatchback. After driving the thing for 3 days now, I can honestly say I am so glad I got rid of that car and got the fit. The functionality of the fit is just so much better. And the styling of the 09 is top notch, which is one reason I chose it over anything else. The yaris is light and very quick but it's still in no way compares to my little fit. I miss it. I'll have it back on wednesday though (only 2 more days) and I can't wait. I've also got a stockpile of ad ons I need to have installed. I just can't contain myself!

Definitely look back.

I am also quite glad to see my car when I come out of my house. I usually park it face out, and when I see it like that it always looks like it's so eager to be driven. It almost makes me want to skip work and drive around all day. I feel a little bad leaving it behind in the mornings when I walk to work, but I guess I'm being more environmentally friendly that way. Still...

I have a medical appointment 110 miles away and I am actually looking forward to the drive..... I usually run late but the super charger has made me much more punctual.... The car is parked out front in the shade and ready to go.

once I get the supercharger or a K-swap, I'll be way more in love with the car than I already am.
