I just bought a new 2009 Sport two weeks ago and it came without window tint. Honda's website shows window tint as standard on all Fits (even the base model).

Did mine come without tinted windows or is Honda putting on almost clear window tint on the Fits?

 

Mine came untinted. Most dealers offer tinting at an additional cost. But they over charge, and everyone already knows the quality of the dealerships work. Plus they'll usually only do legal percentages which you might as well not tint it at all.

Get it done at a professional tint place.

I think the tinted glass they are talking about is just the hatch glass.

 

The glass its self is tinted, but is just for uv rays. you can barely tell, but its there.

 

Could be except every window on my car is the same clear shade...and the dealer's sticker matches the website specs exactly except for the "Tinted Glass". Looks like they got out of adding that because I didn't ask since I thought it was standard.

 

I believe this is the case.

 

It is a green shaded tint, and It is just for UV rays. Standard on just about all makes and models nowadays.
The darker shade you are thinking about would be called "Privacy Glass"
