Sounds like an electrical fault affecting the whole car--maybe a bad alternator or a bad ground.

uh......

did you turn on the car COMPLETELY? like crank the engine?

if not, your fit is doing something that all fits do when the key is in the position just before the engine cranks.

the power steering failing is an issue gd3 fits have had....thought the ge8 wouldn't have it but i guess it does. to fix it, just turn your car off and on. otherwise you'll have to drive it to the dealer like that so they can diagnose it. and probably replace your whole eps system.

but make sure you leave it on, because they wont ever find the faulty eps code unless its currently affecting the car.

so honda is watching this site?????
hahah i got a call this morning from the manager of the service department, ya i said their service sucks but in my terms thats not as bad as what i could have said, sayin somethin "sucks" to me isnt as bad as what they think honestly they did help out but to get this problem fixed it was 99$ for a fuse....
and i say it suck also because they scratched my fit, i love my car and to scratch it is disrespectful, again idk if the car wash guy did it or if the tech did it but it still happened. i have also had a window trim piece replaced because it got scratched some how, not by me again..... but now its peeling up.... again.... i have also had my carpet replaced because random holes appeared, but now it looks like its happening again, im not sure y all these things happen but still its rediculous and ya they helped out a little by giving me free oil changes but thats only for 1 yr.... and ill be moving soon so.... ya hahahah after posting this ill be waiting for another phone call hahahahahahha

OP, I have no idea how you've made multiple holes in your carpet, had it replaced and then done it again in 13,000 miles. I'm almost to 50k and no such issue. Your friends sound like dicks, they're probably scraping their feet on it repeatedly for shits and giggles. You say hahahahahahahahahahahaha too much but you don't seem that bad I'm gonna bring you back into the green.

no its happening on the driver side where the tranny tunnel would be if it were rwd..... but idk how its happening, i try not to let my feet touch it but it still happens, im not sure why maybe there is somethin underneath the carpet? the dealer said the replaced it but never told me what caused nore did they say if there was anything under it... so im not too sure as to why it keeps happening but i was thinking of getting a thin floor mat from autozone or wal-mart and cutting it to fit the spot then sewing it into the carpet??? i have no idea if it would work but its worth a try
