Hi,

I just bought a new Storm Silver 09 Fit Sport. When I bought it, the dealership threw in a tint job for free. It's not installed yet, but I can arrange an appointment to have it installed at any time.

Does anybody have experience with dealer-installed tints? Also, what amount or percentage of tint is recommended?

I have dealer tint. It's legal, only the rear and back passenger doors. Kinda dark but no where near blacked out. Not bad.

 

I have dealer tint but it was already installed when I got it. I love mine and it's very professional and OEM-looking but at $250, it was just another profit center for my dealer

chances are they just drove your car to the local ghetto tint shop down the road.
and then charge you a bit more. but free ftw.

 

Dealer tint with mine. Thrown in for free. A so-so job. Small bubbles in the hatch, but not worth taking it back and leaving it for a whole day. Doesn't really matter about the tint in Arizona. The law limits it, but never heard of anyone getting a ticket for too dark front side windows.

 

dealer tint here too. I think there was an extra charge on them in the 200 range.
