USB Memory Stick Problems-Help!!

I love my 2009 Fit which I purchased in April however sometimes the radio reconizes the USB memory stick and other times it does not (Unsupported). It seems to not reconize it when I start the car and it was left connected overnight. If i unplug it and then plug it in with the car started there is no issue. Is this normal or should i take it back to the dealer. I know others have found the interface to be strange at times. Is it worth trying to ask that they fix this or is this what everyone else experiences? It is sort of weird and I don't know if it's a defect or tyical. Why is it doing this? Thanks in advance for the help. -Mark

What brand/Mke & Model is it?

Try a different USB flash drive. I have an 8GB SanDisk Cruiser flash drive that has never had an issue. Some brands of flash drives won't work, while others may work part of the time. It's very unlikely a problem of the Fit but probably a flash drive issue. Manual says not all flash drives are compatible.

yea, just run a flash drive. in my opinion, wait for a sale on newegg.com and buy the 16gb kingston flash drive.
