My Fit and it's Funny Noise

My 2010 Sport makes an odd...low noise at low RPM (below 30 miles per hour).

It's not a rattle.

It's more like a metalic sound...like something you would hear from an empty bottle or thermos being tapped.

It seems to be coming from the passenger side of the front hood. It's making me crazy. Any ideas out there?

I want to make sure it's not "normal" before I head back to the dealer.

Thanks

Def nothing I've ever heard before... Maybe there's a loose nut rattling around in the underside of your body kit or something

Hey...I have an idea of what it might be....

Check out this thread https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...-warranty.html

And check out what I ended up doing with some weatherstripping--worked like a charm.

I know what you are talking about! Comes right around 1.5 - 2k Rpms. Sounds like the valves or the injectors are being very noisy and goes away as soon as you apply more or less throttle. I have no idea what it is. Definetly from the engine though.
