Hi, does someone knows if the wiring is pre-instaled on the CAN LX 2009 for the dash mounted tweeter?

Any alternates option for after-market tweeter that fit OEM grill?

Does there is any modification to the head unit, except lowering the treble setting?

And, most important, does it improves the stereo imaging over the stock 4 doors speakers.

In all European jazz the wires are present, although there are not tweeters in base model. In the back doors there are wires too.
• It's easy for you to proof it. Just pull over the cap (there is a little grille round it where you can put a little screwdriver). Be careful not to damage the front tweeter grille and the dashboard.
• When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

A 2P connector is building in there. If not ……

you have to find same size tweeters in order to sit in there. They will be about 40 w, 4 Ω.
you will change the connectors too.

 

I have an LX model. Didn't look for the factory speaker wires, as I went aftermarket. The tweeter is from a set of Morel components. The tweeters were just the right size. I drilled and sanded out the stock tweeter covers.

Looks clean - just wondering if the 2009 fit LX had the prewire to go to the tweeters (which are not included on the LX model) - located in Canada
