Was just wondering if there is a way to track the BSP Sport Honda is building for me?

I received an odd number from the dealership, which is supposed to eventually be the VIN. (or part of the VIN?)

I'm a little confused because I thought all VIN numbers for the '09/'10 Honda Fit had, at the very least, a "GE" in them. This number I received however is a "Txx-4xxxx-0xxxx," with no "GE" to be found anywhere in that number. Maybe a temp VIN, or a simple build number until the car is completed and the actual VIN is assigned?

So, considering my dealer gave me this number, is there a way I can track my build's progress from Honda? I would ask the persons I'm dealing with, but they're on vacation for the next week or so.

I was told I could track it's progress with the number they gave me. Was also told it would be completed and shipped within the next two weeks, possibly within one week.

Ahh, that would explain it, I guess. Although, I can't imagine why the dealer would tell me it is a build or VIN number... that's kinda' screwy! Maybe I need a new dealer?

 

Maybe your dealer just needs some warranty repairs!
