Like the title says, it took me forever to get the alarm installed on my 2010 compared to all the other cars I have done, but I finally have keyless entry. (yeah, getting the Sport key is the easy route) The freezing temperatures didn't help either since the garage heater didn't do much, which made soldering a pain! The solder would not melt and I"m sure I have a few cold solder joints in there.

Anyways, I have seen a few wiring info threads but they are not exactly right. I saw one saying that the pink wire is for the door trigger, however that only senses the rear driver door. What I did was just use the negative trigger for the dome light since that turns on with all the doors.

Also, the wiring passthrough the firewall was a pain since it is sooo far back under the cowl.

Next project - to relay in a real horn
