need help - diameter of GE Fit Base steering wheel

Well, I bought Honda Fit leather cover for my Jazz steering wheel but it's too small.
Can anyone let me know the diameter of Fit Base steering wheel. Thanks.

I just checked my wife's '09 Base and the outside diameter is 37cm as close as I can measure it. Inside diameter is about 31.7cm.

Thanks for precise measures. Mine is the same. Something must be wrong with the leather cover then because the lengt (half) is only 52 cm which is more than 10 cm short. I can hardly believe that Honda made such a mistake. Will try to put it on again. Thanks again.

Stretch?

Taking your 52 cm length x 2 x PI, your cover would go around a 33 cm diameter circle. That's betwen the outside and inside diameters I measured. Perhaps you are supposed to stretch the leather? I also have a Fit Sport in the garage, and the OEM leather steering wheel cover is extremely smooth as if it has been stretched during installation.

Thumbs up

Yeah ...I've found out that the center of the cover can be stretched, need some force though. The edge not which is understandable because the inside diameter is shorter.
Happy I didn't waste my money for nothing after all. But without knowing that Jazz's steering wheel is the same size as Fit's I wouldn't have the guts to stretch that much because of the stitches. Although looking back now its kinda obviously.
I'll put it on tomorrrow because is too damn cold right now for sewing. Thanks again for all the help
