Frozen W/S fluid problem being fixed by dealer..!

Frozen W/S fluid problem being fixed by dealer..!

Took my 2010 base Fit back to Honda Universe (Lakewood, NJ) to find out why the iced-up W/S fluid had caused a leak in the car. -Turns out the ice had split the W/S washer motor!

Honda Universe was real okay with it tho, and said it will be repaired under warranty. Now I'm waiting for the new part (the motor) to come in...
There was absolutely no trouble with this dealer concerning this, and I'm glad they were reasonable about the problem.

But for the life of me, I still can't understand why a new Honda would come with only water (and they admitted that it did?) as W/S fluid in the midst of a north-eastern NJ winter?

Oh well... -All's well that ends well, right?

Holy crap. that's one of the dumbest/craziest things I've ever heard.

From where I'm sitting, it almost sounds like it's something they're dealing with internally - like an idiot employee who made a mess they've been cleaning up for a while.

Mine came with the all season blue stuff if I recall :/ Might have been a dealer glitch indeed. Glad you are gonna get it fixed.
