So I'm crusing playing my iPhone thew the aux Jack when all of a sudden the music stops both the radio and the phone look like they are working. I checked the cd and am/fm and everything looks like it is working but there is no sound at all when I got to work I turned my car off waited ten seconds and turned it back on and everything worked perfect. Weird huh I'm wondering if anyone else has had this prob and if it is something I should worrie about this is the first time it happoned.

Happens to me every now and again. I just change back to radio and it works then just jiggle the aux jack cord and then switch back to aux and everything is fine.

 

Yea crash I've had that happen alot just wiggle the aux jack and all is well. I thought it was just my cheap cable.

 

My 09 will not play the FM band of the radio every once in a while. Then all I have to do is turn off the key & back on again & it's fine.

 

Have any of you ever followed up on this? I noticed it happened to me a couple of days ago when there was a bad electrical storm. After work, I got in my car and none of the FM stations worked but AM did. The iPod worked fine and it would play music from it but it seemed like it was not able to pick up any FM stations whatsoever. It happened last night as well. Is there some kind of bad wiring or corrosion that might have caused this? I remember when I drove off of the lot with the new car, I still hadn't screwed on the antenna but it could still pick up the stronger, more local stations on FM. It's really strange that it happened so suddenly.
