hey guys, i'm planning on painting the rear diffuser on my '09 fit sport. the guy that my friend knows needs two days but my car is a daily... so i gotta try and remove it and leave it with the guy for two days.

any ideas?

 

Is it not part of the bumper?

I am going to run mine up on ramps and do it myself. Just have to get a nice day with no wind and mask the whole rear off. I am going to prime and paint it a satin black.

 

it's part of the bumper as Black3sr said. you'd have to remove the whole bumper cover and drive around without it. someone on here did their own job in just a few hours and it looks pretty good. a shop should be able to mask it off and paint it in an hour or less without even having to take off the bumper cover.
