we paid $335 for 6 months with state farm, 500 deductible. Than again, we got multiple cars and home insurance with them. Am sure they took that into consideration for a cheaper rate.

I just got my new insurance bill....$60/month for full everything with American Family on my Fit. Amazingly, my Solstice is cheaper, at $55/month. Since when is a "sports" car cheaper than an econo/grocery getter? Not complaining, though. Rates are pretty good.

Our wheels are covered by The Hartford. We got our house done with them too and got a decent multi line discount. Also being with the AARP helps – The Hartford and AARP (http://aarp.thehartford.com) have a tie up for lower rates and special benefits. So not really complaining here

We went with The Hartford through AARP also.

I live in Southern New England (RI, to be exact) and I'm almost embarrassed to say that at 36 years old, own my home, and a Fit BASE (with a pretty good driving record - last accident was someone who hit my car in a parking lot when I wasn't even in it) and yet I am paying WELL over $1k a year for collision/comprehensive/liability at 25/50/25 with a 500 deductible.
I don't understand how some of the people living in my..umm..urban neighborhood afford to insure some of the cars I see. (shrug) Maybe they're not insuring 'em.

I just added my new 2010 Fit sport on my current insurance. I now pay $500/month for both my crosstour and fit. Moving from NY to Illinois with a number of moving, speeding and seatbelt violations... I think it's just right :/

Man, I am glad I have a good driving record am covered by AARP and live in the woods on a dirt road in the Piney Woods when I see what other people have to pay for insurance coverage..... As screwed up as it is here I hate to think of what it is like where insurance cost are that high.

My '07 Fit Sport costs $68/mo. with full coverage ($50K/$100K liability, $500 deductible) through AAA. But I also have 3 other cars on the policy and another car on a separate classic car insurance policy through them.

Just checked again and were at $86/month for both the '09 fit and the '06 Ridgeline. still with progressive. It'll be lower next month too.

Im only paying $375 for 6 months full coverage w/ a $500 deductible with statefarm.
I can tell you one thing, beats paying $978 for full coverage on my 99 exploder 2 years ago. FIT ftw.

That was probably the adjuster making a call. If you otherwise are a safe driver and the accident is very minor it would probably cost them less to forgive it and collect you same premium more then to fix it, jack up your rate and have you drop them rather then pay anything.

I had Progressive for close to 4 years until they tried to jack my rate up just because I got a new car. They wanted $650 for 6 months. So I shopped around and found the exact same coverage from Geico for $650 for a year. I asked Progressive if they would match but they wouldn't so I dropped them. I'll stick with Geico unless they try to jack my rate up for no reason.

Interesting to note that my rate includes a $60 discount for being a Bank of America customer.
