Thumbs down Dropped a screw and i cant find it!!!!

i was installing my tail lights and i dropped one of the screws and it went into the abyss. i dont know how to get it out. can anyone give me an idea? so far my girlfriend told me to stick a vacuum down there which seems pretty logical.

A magnetic pick up tool might be helpful

Magnetic tool would be your best option. The guys were putting on the CF hood last night and dropped one of the bolts in the engine bay. We had to take the box apart that sits in front of the battery to get it. It was right under it! The Fit has more little spaces for losing things in then I have ever seen!

Finally got it!!! shined a light down there and used an iphone to see where it was. shoved my girlfriends arm in there and she grabbed it. what a relief. that magnet stick looks like a good investment. and yeah im used to dropping things and just falling through the engine bay onto the floor. big clumsy hands :-P

I had the same thing happen to me twice before I finally learned my lesson and bought a magnetic tray.
