Being patient is something you cannot attain by simply "listening," you must simply "have it"

If you NEED it, then practice. If you are getting a boring lecture, then just listen!
It just depends on how strong your willpower is to endure the pain and how much you want it. And if you keep doing this technique, then you might get used to it, and not even know it. Eventually, you'll be a patient person.

Fact is they can trace the location of the vehicle in the HONDA network - question remains if your dealer is willing to do so. K_C_
Well, they didn't sell me the car yet. I just put a refundable deposit on it and it has my name on it. They're also going to add the 3M "clear bra" kit to the car before I pick it up.

I haven't called the dealership even once. If I do, it's just going to make me more anxious. It's always better to want than to have, so in the future I can look back at the wait and remember how fun the anticipation was. Kind of like a kid at Christmas time.

Be glad you are not in 2007 - it took me three months to get my Fit and then the color I wanted was not going to come in for another month. Back then the Fit was hard to find on any Honda dealership lot. When the Milano Red became available I decided to get it instead of waiting for another month for the Vivid Blue Pearl - enjoy your wait. It is exactly like Christmas and will be worth it!

Congrats on your new car and welcome to the Fit family.

I would have been in the same mindset, only three hours after I made the deal my 96 Sedan Deville destroyed the idler pulley and I was suddenly left with no transportation. Luckily I was able to drive home [4Miles] on the battery and no power anything. Things were looking bleak, that's when I called back to the dealer and they were kind enough to trace the VIN. Car was then on a train heading East, two weeks later it was there - two days for them to prep it and it was mine.

Lucky thing for me was Storm Silver was on their next order that was already in motion. The 2010 FIT's are hard to come by around here and Storm is most in demand.

Cool Heart and soon you will be in FIT heaven. K_C_
