Will it fit?

Alright guys, im taking the next step and getting rims pretty soon but need some help.

I'm lowered on eibach sportlines and im planning to get wheels that are under either one of these specs: 16x7.5 et35 or 16x7 et35 with 195/50/16 tires, probably going to stretch. Will I rub?

And so... its either I go with the Maxxim Remembers or the Maxxim Le Mans (yes i know they're replicas, but I honestly don't plan on tracking the car or anything and i'm unemployed and going to college so please don't hate me!)

16x7 with 195/50/16 tire doubt you will have any rubbing issues.

people wont really hate on your for rocking replicas, as long as you don't try to claim they are real. besides don't worry about what other people think. do you.

I'm 18 guys... starting my first year of college. I have scholarships covering all my books and supplies.. plus lots of extra money from financial aid. I'm just asking for opinion here. On the other hand, I'm looking for a job so... I'll handle that. Thanks though.

With 35 mm offset and lowered I bet on rubbing. That 35 mm is 18 mm out from stock and the tire is out by as much as 5 mm for a possible total of 23 mm, or a tad over 7/8".If I were you I'd tape some 7/8" thick pads on the outside corner of your existing tire tread. If yo push the Fit along level ground and the pads are knocked off your guaranteed rubbing.
45 mm is pretty much the minimum offset you can use without rubbing even though the tire is slightly smaller than stock 185/55x16's but slightly larger than 195/55x15's.
good luck.

I'm thinking from what I have seen and my own experience with 35 offset wheels that you will rub. I rubbed with 15's same offset but with 205 tires and I'm also lowered on sportlines.

Does your BMW have 4x100 studs? I thought most European cars had stud setups using the strange spacing of 112 or 120mm in 5 lug.

Well just did a search online and it appears that from '84~'91 BMW used a 4x100 on the 318 and 325 models. And the E30 falls into this category at least in North America.
