Im running RS-R Superdowns with 16x7 +35 offset, 205/45/16 and there is no rubbing.

The rear could probably come out another 5mm to be flush with the fenders, the front is pretty tight and actually sticks out a little bit.

Right now I'm seeing if I could move to 50 series tires and have no rubs, but I have a feeling it might.

The next set of wheels I buy will be 16x7 +40 all the way around with 10mm spacers in the back (or something in that dimension).
I don't rub now but I wouldn't mind the front wheels to be tucked in further just a touch.

If that is your Fit as your avatar gunmetal rims would look fine on your car.

205/50/16's would fill in the gap pretty well. With the 205/45/16, my speedometer is off by 3.5mph.

No rubbing at all! Just make sure your tires are 205/45/16. I don't know if these will rub with stock tires or 205/50/16's

205/50 will rub unless you dial in some camber and do fender mods. I am running that size on stock wheels and rub all the time (2-3 times a day). Almost completely worn through my fender liner even though it is already trimmed away on the front.

BTW, I am dropped on TeinS springs and drive semi conservative. Most times it rubs is on dips in the freeway.

Go with 195/50 and just a touch of camber and you will be fine.
