You're going to have to remove the inner hatch cover. It pops off, believe it or not. Start at the bottom [up when open] and pull it off. About a dozen fasteners that will pop free.

I believe you'll then see the fasteners that hold the trim piece on.

Ok, got the plastic cover off. Now I can't figure out how to get the wiper arm off?

I was going to be excited to help out on this one, glad you got it taken care of, though. Looks so much better with the delete.

Have you found a proper looking garnish replacement (i.e. without the wiper hole)? Until then, is there a specific plug people are filling the hole with?

Thanks for the help.

I had Rogue Carbon overlay the rear garnish with carbon fiber to delete the hole. He does very good work. Before that though, I used a rubber stopper from Lowe's & shaved it down to sit flush.

Glad to help!

Not a bad idea, however, I'd like to find a complete replacement to get rid of the "nipple" sticking out.

Haha, I know what you mean. I wasn't clear though, he shaved down that "nipple", filled the hole with some kind of black putty/filler and then overlayed it with carbon fiber, like such...

If you're still in talks with them, let me know coz I'm in with you. Maybe we can lower cost if we put more garnish work order. Anyone else want in?
