OEM Door Sill Trim back door length

Does anyone have the length of the back Door Sill Trim piece? I can't find a measurement and would like to see if this will cover enough of the sill to prevent my bicycle pedals from scratching the paint.

I've got the instal instructions, but that doesn't give me a length. Thanks!

Denise

Cool

I have these but I don't have an exact measurement off the top of my head, but I can make a guess that it's about 6 inches. They're tiny and don't cover much at all. The next opportunity I get I'll measure it.

EDIT:
I just measured them. They are trapezoid in shape so they are 7.5" at the longest (inner), and 4.5" at the shortest (outter).

6"??

Wow...well...thanks. Even with that being a guess you just saved me $100. I'll put socks on my pedals to save the paint and some money.

Mahalo!

I agree...just guessing mine is about 6".

Another alternative is apply this to your rear bumper. It will be almost invisible. I used it on the front of my car but also on my door sills so they don't get scratched up by shoes. You can buy it in a variety of widths.

The rear door applique...no.

Certain other things are definitely longer if you're referencing to that..

Just measured the applique on my car (kind of hard to measure when its applied to the bumper) but it looks to be 4" wide. Even worse than what I guessed ... Essentially it only protects the top of the bumper...not the vertical face.

Like I mentioned before I'd apply 3M clear bra if you want to protect it better. I applied the bulk sheets to my hood, front bumper and door sills and its worked great. I've had it on over a year and looks like the day I first applied it.
