Lucky you did not kill anyone. Getting a big fine, learning a lesson and not going not going to prison is way better. Someone killed somebody racing here in California and they got thrown in Prison for a while. Which is the correct thing to do. I would think banned from driving for life in CA would be good too. Having a huge insurance bill to what ever state he or she moves to would be mandatory. The person could move to Arkansas or somewhere else when he gets out.

 

I understand what ytu mean when somebody gets killed but thats a common misconception in my case. where i was it was completely abandoned except for the under cover that was posting up. it was also around mid night so no worries. there was no one out.

You never know who might be up, who might be around the corner. Someone making a late night run for food, buying snacks for their pregnant wife, out for a midnight jog (dunno why, but it's been done)... etc.

All it takes is for one person that you feel "shouldn't be out at this time" to ruin, not just you race, but your day/life.
