Coilover Question

Okay so I'm confused on one thing I usually just get lowering springs but with my wheel/tire combo and a little spirited driving I rub on the outside fender (I knew this would happen from the beginning).

When I looked into Coilovers with adjustable damepners, the spring rate are higher than the Eibach Pro-kits (I'm assuming). With the Dampeners set to the softest will this improve ride quality or in general ride quality will be worst compared to the Eibachs?

Don't get me wrong I don't mind the Eibachs but then again I would love to have a stiffer set up to address the rubbing, just don't know how much or how little the coilovers will affect the ride quality compared to the Eibach

Generally, lowering springs will give you the best ride quality. Coilovers tend to be more rough in everyday driving due to the higher spring rate and damper stiffness. If you are using the coilovers to solve the rubbing issue, then, yes, you will be getting a much stiffer ride so the wheels won't move so much and that WILL make your ride quality worse.

Sounds more like you need to do some fender rolling to get some clearance for you wheels. Unless you are going to go significantly lower, I would just go with Eibach/Swift/Progress to match the stock dampers and a fender roll. Much cheaper solution.
