16" steel rims

merry xmas all,

I have a Honda Jazz EX (UK model) with 16" rims. I purchased some new 195/55 16" winter tyres - I now think it would be better to mount them on separate steel rims.

Problem is that I haven't been able to find any that size. I saw from another thread that this size seems to be difficult to find. Anyone able to find these at all (or really cheap alloys?). thanks!

you'd probably be better off just mounting them to aluminum wheels. 16" steel rims are pretty uncommon in 4x100 bolt pattern

I am not sure if my Honda dealer is BS me but they told me that Honda's official recommendation (to avoid voiding the warranty if I experience vibration etc etc) is to use a 15" steelies with higher profile tires or a 16" alloy rims with stock tires.

I ended up listening to them and bought 15" steel and snow tires from them as my 2010 Sports is still new with 3 year warranty. I will do what I want after the 3rd year and warranty expired

15" steel wheels are not common here in the US (other than from the honda dealer at an AWFUL price) so i'm not sure where M4 found 16" steelies with 4x100. Here in New England (vermont), every other car has a 2nd set of wheels for snows and the local tire places (both local an national companies) were quoting us OEM wheels that they would order from the dealer. No aftermarket in their supply chains.

I picked up Craigslist 15" integra alloys for my winter wheels.
