Which mp3 player?
Which mp3 player?
What mp3 works the best the the Fit's radio Ipod or Sony? I seen a few post regarding Ipod problems. Does any body use the sony one Sony - Walkman 16GB* MP3 Player - Black - NWZS545BLKB
i use an 8 gig version of that before in my fit.. its terrible.. theres no play lists... using a flash drive is better then using that because atleast you can sort it by folder.
With an Ipod however you actually have a playlist.
iam generally not PRO-Ipod, but for the honda fit.. its no doubt your best choice, because even with the Flashdrive you have to name each file in a specific way for it to play in the order you want it too.. with the Sony however I couldn't get it to play a play list OR by folder... so that crap was playing in a specific order that the Sony had it in.. and there was no way around it for me.
not only that but ANYTHING thats on the Ipod is playable.. for a Flash drive or any other MP3 player, not all audio formats are compatible.. i always have like 3-5 songs that won't work no matter what in flash drive or non-ipod mp3 player per play list...

If you want anything other than browsing folder capability, an iPod is the only solution. the down-side is that the navigation for very full ipods is pretty poor as it takes forever to scroll to R,S,T,U,... Pick up an older 8gb iPod for the car to leave in there. If you can find one with a cracked screen, that's even better as it should be extremely cheap... as long as it works when plugged in, that's all that matters.

I have a 2nd gen 8GB iPod touch and it works great for the most part...although as specboy pointed out above, scrolling through songs is cumbersome, but I can deal with that to have full playlist functionality.
