CX Racing Coilovers

Found these on ebay for around $600.

They look pretty legit, and are one of the few companies I've seen offering coilovers specifically for GE8 applications.

Anyone have any experience using these yet? Thanks!

Not sure about their coilover, but I have their intercooler on my turbo miata. Their intercoolers are pretty well built.

The only thing I would even consider using from CXR would be an intercooler core.

And only if it was given to me free and ridiculously over-sized for my application.

Here is a glaring example of why:
cxracing.com: TD05 Big 20G Turbocharger ,oil and water cooled, Fits 89-99 1G 2G Eclipse, Talon, Laser
(I'll give you a BIG hint: the factory oil return line alone costs $60 through Mitsubishi.)

If it looks too good to be true, it is. If you can't see anything wrong in that particular link, you are who they expect to buy their stuff.

Also anyone selling "staged" turbos, referring to any turbo as T3/T4, or comparing "trims" and A/R's between manufacturers. They are looking for suckers basically.

I wouldn't want to be in the controlled environment of a track let alone on the road with someone using major components from CXR.

I used a CX Racing radiator on my eh3 civic that my buddy had purchased and never installed, but that was only until I bought the Mishimoto replacement. The welds on the CXR radiator looked okay but the unit had a tacky ebay feel to it and I wouldn't consider buying their products for my Fit, I wouldn't feel any security from that. You get what you pay for.

Bringing this thread back, has anyone tried these yet?
I am going to a shop near my house that sells them, I was able to bring them down 20 bucks. Down to 595. They wanted 615
If I could get them a little cheaper imma give them a shot, I see really good reviews from the other forums, is300, vw. 240sx
People seem to like them.
I'm in the market for coils and a friend told me to give them a try.
I'll let you guys know how it goes lol if I buy them
Just wanted to see if anyone else has bought them

PAISA DRIFT!!!

I really do get it with the cheap knockoff parts and beat up cars, but we KNEW our cars were beat up and parts were cheap trash years ago. This has somehow evolved into some strange misinterpretation that that is acceptable practice and those are hot parts in the last few years.

Kids these days. Get off my lawn.

I used to hang with some drift kids.... This whole "drift missile" thing... welded diffs and <$600 coil overs... yeaaaaa....

They always used to get annoyed when I'd end up waiting for them on the other end of the canyon with a working heater, stereo, windows, head gasket, tire tread... you get the idea
