I followed the instuctions in the Metra Dash Disassembly today, but could never really find the two 8mm bolts to remove to drop the control console out. There were just too many of those plastic mazes under the knobs. I thought I might have found the last two holes, but I could never get my 8mm socket to fit in the hole.

Are those two 8mm bolts supposed to be removed with a 8mm socket or a small phillips screwdriver?

I am just trying to get behind the radio to tap into the factory wiring with my Bazooka FAST harness without breaking anything.
