amp install with stock hu

Planning on installing an amp and sub. The amp I have has low level rca inputs and high level inputs. From what I hear the sound quality is better with the low level rca inputs. Should I use a line convertor off the rear speakers with the rca or just go direct into the high level inputs?

basically what i did with mine is i used a line converter off of the rear speakers. just splice it in and your good to go, then wired the remote off of the ignition to turn off when acc is off.

JDM is right. It's easiest to tap into the rear speaker wires. The Remote is easiest to just do a tap a fuse. Other than that its a piece of cake.

That's how I did it. I just tapped the wires for the rear speakers.

If just low range, not too much difference between hooking directly to high level vs using a high/low converter and then going into the RCA ports. I'd just skip the converter if you have a decent amp.
