Hey everyone Im kinda new to the Fit world and I'm thinking about buying one.....so my question is, is there any differences between the '09-'10 and the '11's because I have been looking at after market parts online and most companies say its only for the '09-'10 but to me the '11s look the same as the other? thanks for the help

 

For the most part, they are the same. The differences are, most obviously, color choices... a little less obvious is floor mats being standard for Sport trim. Of course there's something even less obvious, but probably more influential... cruise control and VSA (vehicle stability assist) being standard across the board.

If the aftermarket part affects those things, you'll have to get someone that knows what they're doing to inform you of the impact of using an "off model year" part. Though, the Navi trims of 09 and 10 should be about the same when it comes to VSA.

If it doesn't affect those... you can probably do it, regardless of whether the part is for '09 or '11.

What parts were you looking into? (If you don't mind me asking.)

 

First off thanks for the info, second I have been lookig at a lot of differetn parts but the main thing that I have noticed only for the '09-'10 is the lips, skirts and spoilers.

 

They should fit.

 

All parts for the 09-10 WILL fit 2011 Fits.

Honda and all the other companies that have products for the FIT just need to update their darn dates to say 09-11

I have a 2011 and everything I have purchased, and I have purchased alot, has been bought with the 09-10 description on all the parts.
