2 year old battery yikes!!

It died(RIP). Fortunately, it was still under warranty. Sadly though, Honda DOES NOT provide new waranty on replacement battery.

You still have the remaining time left from your original warranty. But of course you don't get to start the clock on a new 3 year warranty. If they did that you'd never have to buy a battery again.

I remember years back when muffler shops gave lifetime guarantees on mufflers.

op- do you drive short distances or run your stereo while parked? neither my GD or GE had (have) issues with its batteries... and our winters here can go sub 0F.

I have the same battery that came with the car when I bought it five years ago... The car will sit for up to a month without being driven but it always starts up.. It has ran down and sat for days a few times because of the interior light being left on but always recharged.

My 2000 integra battery lasted me until I traded it in 2007. I had a 450W amplifier driving 4 sets of components and 2 subs but I also had a 1/2 farad capacitor. I think I might install that capacitor into the fit for an extra boost when needed.... cold mornings, AC Compressor kicks in... just so the headlights don't dim. I've never had a battery die that quickly.
