Advice on eyelid vinyl
Alright, so I have a little issue with the set of eyelids I got from TFBDesigns. For some reason, you can see through the vinyl making the chrome housing visible through the eyelid. It appears it's more "ghosted" than an actual solid eyelid. It takes a lot away from it, so I was wondering what you guys think I should do. You can see through them in pretty much all light conditions except if the light is directly over the eyelid.
These pictures aren't edited in any way/shape/form, and I tried to include a few different lighting scenarios. Pictures were taken with a Canon 30D w/ an 18-55mm lens at about 3:30 PM (mid day).
Far Away:
You can clearly see through the eyelid here.
Notice the outline of the housing in both of the eyelids.
Direct Light:
You can't see any of the housing depending on the angle you stand at (in this case, with direct light on the eyelid).
Different Lighting Angle:
You can faintly see the housing in the passenger side.
Housing visible right about the turn signal.
Close Ups: Three different lighting scenarios.
Passenger Side:
Driver Side:
Shade:
The pictures honestly do them justice. They usually look like this (taken with a Motorola Droid at about 7:30 AM).
Right now, the options I can think of are:
1) Remove them
2) Leave it the way it is
3) Pay for a second set and double up the vinyl, *hoping* that the issue goes away
4) Getting two entirely new sets, with flat black on the bottom to block out all the light, then a layer of SSM to give it color.
5) Screw it all and get base headlights
My intent is not to put down TFBDesign in any way, they've been great with all of my questions and everything. I just need input on what to do before I make a final decision.
ANY input is appreciated!

Wild Bill, why don't you go back to bed man... An old guy like you needs all of the beauty sleep he can get... I'd be asleep except this is the 3rd day in a row without A/C and it is almost 90 degrees in here without it... Yeah it's taking a toll on my good looks.

^what he said.
It looks ok, but not great due to the transparency. Even if you get another pair to overlay on top, it will still be like 10% transparent.
Car looks good btw.

I like mine, but then again I made them myself. I no longer have a vinyl plotter but I have the file and a friend who owns a vinyl business if I ever decide to remove them and then redo them.
