Brake issue, one time thing

yesterday i was pulling into a driveway, pressed down on the brake pedal and it went to the floor and didnt stop, i then releases the pedal and re-applied pressure, and it was fine. Has been fine since...
I drive a 2011 fit, 5spd with 7000 miles

That should not happen and is not a good sign. Points to master cylinder issues. I suggest a visit to your dealer with a description of what you experienced. It's all under warranty.

Definitely as KC said! No joking matter. Could have been on a freeway or city street and not a driveway. I would take it back ASAP!

Not sure of your driving experience so gotta ask. Are you sure it wasn't the clutch that you first depressed? Sometimes in driveways and garages you are moving and shifting your body around preparing to do other things and your foot might have got misorientated. After the car didn't slow down you'd get extremely shocked and would instantly straighten your body so next time it could have been the correct brake pedal.

But if not sure definitely get those brakes checked out asap!

Hmmm... good point Depressing the right pedal for the right purpose helps! ____ happens and ends up on the 6PM news...

I would also check for any leaks/air near the MC. Is the Cap on tight? Be safe!
