I know about other countries' trunk layouts see my previous post.. so I know what's the use, I just don't find it practical. Especially not for $200+ . For what? To hold a bottle of water as pictured below? Cause I don't see that net supporting much more weight than that. But for water bottles we got 10 cup holders (9 if you install the center armrest console)


Don't get me wrong it's still a cool JDM accessory, but for the $200+ .... not on my list

 

actually, the netted part can be covered up with a panel. look at your picture, above the netted part, right next to the back of the seat. the panel is folded over to the other side and sits between the netted shelf and the back of the seat. once you fold it back... you have a full shelf that can hold more than the net ever could.

BTW, it's not even 9 cupholders... it's more like 8 1/2 (the cup holder the armrest provides is tiny).

just because you don't find it useful... doesn't mean there isn't someone other there that does. *shrugs*
