GE8 Oil consumption rate?
#22
The guy who did my service in their drive through was very nice and was also a Fit owner (Although was a GD?). He was pretty helpful and there are a ton of guys at the dealership who have fits. One white Fit was stripped down on coils with some sick rims.
I trust he woulda got the oil done right!

Retarded Bump.
Car went to Honda today for the LMS recall.... Well the Recall wasnt done because they didn't have parts.... and as far as oil goes the tech wrote that he found the oil at the min mark and filled with 1L of oil.
Honda will be doing their ver of an oil consumption test. Run the car for 1500 kms and return it to top up and check oil level. Rinse and repeat 4 times to get an average.
Honda all states that acceptable oil consumption rate is up to 1L per 1500KMS.
Like HOLY SHIEZA. Mein Turbo VW wasnt using that much oil and it had an old turbo from a 24v Cummins engine on it (mind you it did blow up pretty quick)
Will post results as I gather info.....
Im also not 100% sure the car was at the min mark but it was getting pretty close when I checked it before dropping it off. Either way it looks a biiiit better for my case of "the engine should NOT BE THIS WAY"
Fingers crossed I get a new engine or something lol. Guess I better run it at maximum hard the next 6000 kms .
