Well, we did it. We are almost done with the prototyping of the kit. I will be starting a Group Buy on this item soon. For now enjoy the pictures.

Type M Front Bumper (106929) :: MSRP - $299.00
Type M Sideskirts (106930) :: MSRP - $275.00
Type M Rear Lip (106931) :: MSRP - $299.00
Type M Wing (106932) :: MSRP - $249.00

Obviously the Group Buy pricing will be alot different and will be determined by how many people are actually interested in the kit. You GE owners wanted something and this is how it begins!

I would love to hear some feedback and also if you are interested let us know!

We're just doing the test fit right now, making sure everything lines up right. The kit won't be released for another couple of months. I will be taking pre orders through a Group Buy soon. Which will allow those who are really interested to get this kit at a much cheaper rate!

I like the look of it. Will probably be a nice upgrade for a Base.

so basically, this is another replica Mugen front end? based on the honda fit f154sc - Google Search

Mugen Honda FIT F154SC at Tokyo Auto Salon 2008 - YouTube and Mach 5 / Mugen Fit - Tokyo Auto Salon 2008 Dai & Lisa 2 - YouTube

looks like you guys sliced a molded copy of the Mugen front end just above the license plate location, took the bottom part and mated that to a USDM front end, bondo-ing all the mating areas to smooth it out.

I assume then you're going to recast a mold based on that into production... or I assume that's what you would do, if you have the facilities for it. That would be the most cost effective if you can.

If not, a smaller company can redo the slice/mate/bondo process for each and every order.

edit: maybe it'd be easier simply to design it as an add-on lip. Like the USDM Mugen lip, not for the Sport, but instead for the Base trim. The overall shape is roughly that of the Base Fit, just need to do some cutting in the Base Fit's bumper for the additional openings.

As for my opinion on this Mugen (replica) front end... I haven't decided if I like it or how much. If my car came with it, sure. but buying it and adding it... hum.

It looks like they did start with the base Fit, grey head lights (as opposed to the chrome from the sport) and steelies w/ covers..

The Mugen front wont fit on the USDM Fit's without additional modifications. As for the splicing process that is exactly what we did. It was necessary to ensure spot on fitment. The mold will be made and manufactured over seas, there won't be anything to worry about

I'm not sure how I feel about it. You should show the kit painted, with pics of the side and rear too. Also, put some coilovers and some nice wheels on that test car you're using.

Does the OEM fog lights fit on these somehow? I prefer the INGS front end than the Mugen, but I appreciate you supporting the USDM GE.

Edit: Nevermind, I see these are round and OEM are more oval.
