New here

Hello everyone I am new to my Fit. I got a 2012 Honda Fit sport silver manual transmission. This isn't my first Honda I just sold my 1990 Civic hatch that was mint! Hard to sell but was needing something a little newer. One question I do have is what is everyone getting for gas mileage??

I just picked mine up a week ago in Tampa FL - 2012 Fit Sport AT. I've filled up twice now and each time was 35.5 MPG!!! Not shabby for a car that's not broken in!

I'm getting around 33 city and 37 highway. My tanks have averaged somewhere in that range, anyway.

That isn't bad at all. I was just wondering because the little average gas mileage gauge is slowly creeping up and I also expected it to be a little low while the motor breaks in. I got some Meguiars NXT Tech Wax 2.0 I am going to wax it either tomorrow or Thursday then I will upload a few pictures. I sure loving my new car!

I used to drive a Honda Civic HX CVT coupe (1998 model). Nice car, but after everyone in my family complained about the US$2,000 repair bill on the car when it was repaired at the end of 2009, I had to start looking for a new car. And three days ago, I finally bought a 2012 Honda Fit Sport AT (Alabaster Silver Metallic).

I have a 2011 base 5AT and get 33-35 mpg city and 38-42 highway. It varies a lot depending on how I drive and which way the wind is blowing. My best trip was 44 mpg - I slowed down and had a stiff tail wind to help.

seabizcut, your car is essentially identical to my new 2012 Honda Fit Sport AT as shown here:
