2012 Fit Buyers Check in!!! Welcome and Congrats!
$16k OTD 2012 Base Model
Traded in my Toyota 4Runner for the sweet Honda Fit (for better mpg's). LOVING IT so far, can't wait to test the cargo capacity tomorrow for a music gig I have. I paid $102 TOTAL OTD b/c of my trade in, trade = $16,200 and they just charged $102 for the all weather matts.
Bought my 2012 Fit Base 5spd in Vortex Blue Pearl on Monday. I traded in my 2005 Scion tC, and I must say, I'm not really disappointed at all! I love it!
I wanted the Sport model, but it was a little out of budget and a little difficult to justify, considering that I only wanted it for the looks. So, I settled on the Base 5spd. I'm thrilled! Love the iPod interface, and the gas mileage calculator (things I didn't have on my tC). Honestly, it feels like it has basically as much pep as my tC did from 0-60, so I'm really pleased with that.
tC was worth $5600 (according to the dealer... I probably could've gotten more had I tried, but I was impatient), and the final negotiated price of the Fit was $15,945... So only about $10k. Love it.

I picked up my Raspberry Blue Pearl Sport with M/T on Monday. OTD with body side molding, sport pedals and ambient lighting kit for $18,599. The largest dealer in TN (you know who you are, DW) told me it would take 3 months to get a RPB with a manual, and insisted on me paying the full price upfront. No deposit accepted. Stopped at Victory Honda in Jackson, TN on a whim and Dave the sales manager got me the car I wanted in five days. Love the car. Love the dealer.
About to buy the Fit hopefully today or within the next week. I've been lurking around the forums for quite awhile now. I'm not sure yet on what the OTD price is, but we've been negotiating on around $16,500 to $16,000 OTD for an auto-trans base model. Good deal or am I getting ripped off?
I bought mine at the same time. I have 6,200 miles and running strong. As of today, I still have 40% on the MM.
At 80% in MM. The MM seems to drop in large increments like from 100 to 90 and 90 to 80. Don't recall seeing any smaller increments but I don't check it all that often.
Still Waiting!!!!
OOOOH! SO JEALOUS!! The EXACT same car I am waiting on!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!'07 VBP Sport 5 MT..Gone but not forgotten!!
"Hey everyone. Picked her up last night. Vortex Blue with the 5 speed."
Dealership called stating that they won't honor the military discount and won't renegotiate on the price.Gonna check out the next Honda dealership. I'm still in the market looking for a fit.
Looks good. Makes me want to get another blue car.

Just picked up mine last Tuesday. It will be my daily commuter and I love it. Not as much torque or speed as my '02 Spec V but I do look forward to the fuel efficiency, hatchback utility, and reliability. It's just as much to throw into curves as the old car.
MT5 Sport OTD - $16,900 plus tax.
