I was told by the dealer that the only change from 2012 to 2013 was the color choice.

If that's the case shouldn't the 2012 be a lot cheaper than MSRP?

Hey everyone!
Going in tomorrow to trade my 2009 Red DX for a 2012 Polished Metal Metallic Sport!
Excited for all the little things that Im getting over the base! I gotta peel my exhaust/intake off as well as take out my sub and a few other things.
The dealership is even letting me swap my center console from my 09 into the sport so I have the nice big arm rest (I really like it).
Very excited for my new ride!

(Almost) a New Fit Owner!
Hi! I just put down a deposit on a 2012 Blue Rasberry Metallic Fit Sport AT, with a price of $18200 (no trade in ) for the car, which included a transfer fee of $300 since in Connecticut all anyone had was Grey, Black, or Silver. I have no issues with those colors, but I drove a grey car for eight years. My OTD price is $19883.87.
I was so glad to find this site, I'm loving all the great tips I've already read here.

Taking delivery of a 2010 Fit (Blue Sensation Pearl) tomorrow. Got a pretty good deal on it, especially as it only has a little under 19,000 miles. I'm a nurse who does home visits, and I drive a *lot*. The '03 Civic Hybrid I'm trading has 200k on it.
Anyone have any experience good or bad with a remote starter for the '10 Fit? It's very appealing, as I don't have a garage, and pre-starting in the winter is a nice thing. Especially so since I park about 50 yards from my house.
Am I a nerd or what? I've already bought a "Jazz" name plate for my Fit. The first Jazz I saw was in the UK in 2006, and I think "Jazz" is a *way* better name than "Fit". So my fit is going to be a Jazz very soon!

Bought my Wife a new 2012 fit on June 20th. Have a few questions about some needed improvements.
Louder horn and the worthless sun visors (when the sun is coming in from the side windows).
Some pics. The day we got it!
Took it on our first trip to the beach!

^^ looking good, cute wife too. congrats!
i hooked up my G35C's stock horns in my '12 the other day. hahaha. it's easy to do. just undo the tabs over the radiator (use plastic tab puller if you have one not to scuff the tabs & there are 2 longer tabs out of the 8 or something you pull out, so watch where those 2 come from), remove stock horn, wire up new horns. done.
the beep horn located on driver side near still works with the alarm, so if you choose to use air horns, you can still arm the lock with the beep. for air horns use new wires and relay for power.

i think any of the larger car dual stock horns would sound pretty good. might even do a WTB ad or something over in the accord/acura or nissan/infiniti forums. i have a pict in my blog a few pages back.
i use a stebel compact airhorn in my G. thing is LOUD and very musical at the same time. but this sounds euro...

Thanks kenchan.
Will take more pics after I clean the interior and exterior from the audio shop. Now all I can see are dust and finger prints all over the car lol
I'm a car detailer too so this will be fun to do

I got a 2012 Sport Auto. The final price with tax was about 20k including a center console (which I love.) It had 40 miles when we got it, and we have put on about 600 in the past two weeks.
I don't have that many fun roads around me to try out sport mode on, but normal roads in D feel just fine. It feels like there is a sheen of sportiness on a base of reliable handling, which inspires confidence.

We also got a 2012 OBM Sport auto. OTD was $19700. Went from a '03 Matrix manual 5 speed to the auto trans. I have to admit it is nice having the auto trans for a change. I haven't had a good impression of auto tranny's in small cars before, but the Fits auto is really nice. Drive is just fine for normal driving, Sport mode is nice on the hills and curvys.using the paddles is a kick when passing on the two-lanes and for holding a gear going up or down the big hills. I'm happy!

On Saturday I purchased a used Milano Red 2012 Fit sport A/T with about 13k miles OTD for $14,177.
Really digging the car. Look forward to learning more about it, and taking advantage of all your expertise.
Question about the K & N air filter - is it easy to change? Are there any downsides to installing, and will the car still pass emissions with it?
Also--I need floor mats, but the OEM mats sure seem expensive. Any recommendations or comparable alternatives? Thanks.
