Lifter/Fuel Injector Noise!?!

Lifter/Fuel Injector Noise!?!
Merry Christmas!
I bought a 09' Fit a few days ago and noticed a "ticking" noise while driving. The "ticking" noise follows the throttle so I am assuming it is a engine related.
From the research I have done it sounds like this is a normal issue and Fit engines make "ticking" noises due to the lifters and the fuel injectors.
I know in cold weather this is common and the noise goes away once the oil warms. With my car however it seems to make the noise from on to off.
I checked the oil level and it looked good.
So... is this normal?
Thanks so much for your insightful answers.

The valve train in Fits does seem noisier than other OHC 4cyl cars I've had. This may be due to the plastic valve cover and closeness to the cabin.
Valve adjustment is not recommended less than 100K miles "unless needed." It's not trivial as it involves removal of the intake air chamber and removal of the shroud at the bottom of the windshield. Might cost a few hundred dollars at Honda. (while the power train warranty is 5 years 60K miles, it doesn't cover adjustments).
If nothing else, you might have the Honda svc dept check it out and give their impression. Also you might have some warranty from Carmax that may cover this if they need adjustment.
