Radar detector, Beltronics 940

Just in case anyone cares, I hard wired my rd to the map light tonight. The rj11 cable (phone cord) uses red-hot, green-ground for the Beltronics. Was driving me nuts bc usually the black wire is ground.

I just wired my Passport too, grounded it right to the body.
