i here too am considering getting exhaust. still really stuck between the Greddy TI-C and the HKS Hi-Power. i hear both of them produce amazing sounds from the outside, doesnt sound like a fart cannon. nice and subtle, which is what i'm looking for. but most important to me is how it sounds from the inside of the car. i highway/freeway a lot, so im looking for something that wont drone on a long ride.
i couldnt find a video for TI-C sound from inside the car. i've read somewhere that the greddy is a bit louder than the hks and produces a teeny bit more power than hks(not sure?)
i'm open to other brands as well, tips are appreciated (:

Those of you that removed the muffler.
Do you meant the resonator in the mid pipe, or the actual axle back muffler?
If its the axle back, I'd like to see some pictures of what you did. Just had a straight pipe made to replace it?

I did an axle back, I don't have any pictures right now but you go to any muffler shop and ask them to take out your axle-back muffler and just custom weld a pipe and out of your car (using your stock tip). Sounds great! It only cost me $40 for the job at this local muffler shop. But I think a S2000 tip would give you that look so you can have the sound and look

I have an HKS Hi-Power and love it. It does not sound like a fart-can, and does not drone on the highway. I drove over 3000 miles on the highway on 2 trips at 70-85 mph and the sound did not bother me at all.

I cut it just before the bolt on flange where it turns up about a foot in did the spring bolts and left the muffler it self hung on the hangars as a dummy for the cops sounds throaty is the little tube after that the resonator or a second cat
