Question about battery posts there.

Does the Fit stateside have the normal sized SAE battery posts? Mine comes with the much narrower JIS size posts. I'm looking into picking up a Braille lithium battery and they only have SAE posts. If the Fits there come with that size post, I will just order the hardware online to convert to SAE sized positive and negative. My stock battery is already quite light at about 13.5lbs, but 6lbs with even more power sounds great. Though my wallet is saying piss off at the price.

Thank you Steve. Now I know I can just pick up the battery ends from an online Honda parts dealer.

It's not a given yet JCrim, but it is a BIG want that an itchy trigger finger might just squeeze on.

I have an AGM Braille Battery B14115 - Braille Battery No-Weight Standard Batteries - Overview - SummitRacing.com and they were direct r&r... check deka too as they are the makers of braille (cheaper if you get deka instead of braille). Shorai has some lithium batts too ShoraiUsa - Batteries

Heh. Where as the Braille I went with for the 1G is a 68lb Endurance series for offshore racing, and will probably be doing something similar for the GD3.

Trunk Mount FTW.

I already have a Deka battery to install... If it isn't strong enough to crank it up I can add another one and still be much smaller and lighter than the OEM battery that is still working just fine 3 1/2 months shy of being 6 years old.

No worries DSM. This can turn into a free for all whatever now.

68lb battery you would put into the GD? That's about 3% the stock weight of the GD. hahaha I guess with your dual blown setup, that number won't really matter overall.
